BIM4DC was formed to provide a forum to promote and share knowledge on BIM between its members. BIM4DC is free and open to Data Centre industry professionals. This includes; supply chain, developers, consultants, contractors and end-users. Data Centres are business critical facilities with high volumes of costly tightly spaced kit; ideal projects to utilise the BIM process.
Leading institutes, trade associations and professional bodies representing the built environment, have joined together to form the BIM4FM group, supported by the Cabinet Office Government Property Unit. Working in collaboration, the group’s purpose is to champion facilities management’s involvement with Building Information Modelling (BIM) projects. BIM4FM would like to ensure that the industry works together to support and educate facilities managers, owners and occupiers, as well as developing stronger relationships with other members of the built environment supply chain.
BIM4FitOut was formed by the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS) to address the impact of BIM on the commercial interior fit out sector. A Governments BIM Task Group partner, the group aims to ensure that the sector supply chain is ready for this new way of working. It engages regularly with everyone in the delivery team to understand the issues and inform debate directly with the BIM task group, and progress towards an integrated BIM delivery team in the sector. Its members are made up of manufacturers, distributors, architects, designers, Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.
BIM4HEALTH welcomes all organisations who operate within the healthcare sectors with an interest in the activity of structuring a governable, sustainable non-restrictive and open Health BIM conduit. It is proposed to create active BIM4HEALTH subgroups around the AHSN designated regions and to focus on particular issues, relating to Health BIM. In particular, the group encourages ways to engage with, adopt and embed Health BIM into business and how Health BIM can assist in the wider Government’s objectives for an integrated Health Information Model that assists in the goals and objectives as set out in the Transformational for Change agenda.
BIM4Heritage is a special interest group established within the BIM4Communities to champion BIM within the Historic Environment. The group is formed by various specialists, including those from within the AEC industry, Conservation, Heritage Organisations Academic Departments and end-users.
BIM4Highways is a cross-industry group open to all organisations involved in the management and delivery of road and motorway assets. The group's make up is reflective of the sector, involving clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, sub-contractors and other bodies.

BIM 4 Infrastructure (UK), or ‘BIM4IUK’ for short, is a Special Interest Group (SIG) within the Association of Geographic Information (AGI) which is supported by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Government BIM Task Group and the Construction Project (CPI) Committee.
Support for Local Government adoption of BIM. BIM4LG is a dedicated resource tailored to assist Local Government Authorities.
BIM4M2 is a working group consisting of people and organisations concerned with BIM for manufacturers (the organisations) and manufacturing (the process). Developed to support the work of the BIM Taskgroup, BIM4M2 was formed by the Construction Products Association (CPA), but is separate to and independent from it. Members include a healthy mix of manufacturers (SMEs and multi-nationals), consultants and content providers.

The BIM For Retail group has been created as a collaboration of major UK retailers with a common interest to develop and improve the awareness, skill and use of BIM technology.
BIM4SME aim to represent all SMEs taking steps to begin and progress their use Level 2 BIM. At our heart we are guided by the following principles and goals. We will enable individuals and businesses to better understand the full lifecycle of Building Information Modelling through knowledge sharing about Level 2 BIM, the BS and PAS1192 suite of documents.
Survey4BIM is a cross-industry group open to all organisations involved in the survey, collection, management, processing and delivery of geospatial information within a BIM context. The groups make up is reflective of the sector, involving clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, sub-contractors, institutions and other bodies. Our mission is to provide a forum for survey organisations and industry professionals to collaborate and share their journey putting “BIM into practice”, and to provide best practice guidance documents on survey matters relating to BIM.p>
